FAQ
What does Casappa do?
Casappa designs and manufactures hydraulic pumps and motors, as well as flow control components, mainly used in mobile machinery for agriculture, construction and industrial applications.
How can cavitation in pumps be prevented?
To prevent cavitation, it is essential to maintain an adequate fluid level, reduce suction losses, use proper filtration, and ensure that the pump operates within its design parameters (pressure, temperature and flow rate).
When can two pumps be used in parallel?
Two pumps can be used in parallel when there is a need to increase total flow or manage variable loads, provided they are correctly sized and compatible (same nominal pressure and similar flow–pressure characteristics).
