CASAPPA GEAR FLOW DIVIDERS

Modern machines featuring complex kinematics often require multiple, separate and independent actuations. Wherever flow equalisation, flow splitting or operation under high-pressure conditions is required, CASAPPA offers its extensive range of POLARIS 10, POLARIS 20, MAGNUM 30 and MAGNUM 35 flow dividers, providing technically efficient and cost-effective solutions for hydraulic power transmission.

Polaris [PLD]

Hydraulic gear flow dividers manufactured from high-strength aluminium alloy.

In order to simplify system design and installation, CASAPPA has equipped its flow dividers with balancing valves, including integrated pressure relief and anti-cavitation valves. When properly applied, these components help optimise hydraulic circuits, reducing both installation and operating costs. They consist of two or more sections internally connected by a common shaft, ensuring a constant flow ratio through each element, proportional to the displacement of each section. The main advantages of these products are modularity, low weight, high operating pressures, and energy efficiency. Flow dividers are components with a theoretically non-dissipative operation; in fact, if the outlet pressure of a section is lower than the inlet pressure, that section behaves like a motor and extracts energy from the fluid. The energy extracted in this way is not dissipated as heat; instead, through the common shaft, it is transferred and used in other sections operating as pumps, where the outlet pressure is higher than the inlet pressure.

They can be used as flow equalizers, flow dividers, and pressure intensifiers.

Displacements from 2.14 to 33.03 cm³/rev available in Group 10 and Group 20.
Peak pressures up to 280 bar.

When properly applied, these components allow hydraulic circuits to be optimised, increasing the service life of the main pump and reducing both installation and operating costs.
They consist of two or more sections internally connected by a common shaft, ensuring a constant ratio between the flows through each element, proportional to the displacement of each section, excluding variations in volumetric efficiency.
Flow dividers are non-dissipative components; if the outlet pressure of a section is lower than the inlet pressure, that section behaves like a hydraulic motor and extracts energy from the fluid.
This energy is not dissipated as heat; instead, through the common shaft, it is transferred and used in other sections acting as pumps, where the outlet pressure is higher than the inlet pressure.

They can be used as flow equalizers, flow dividers, and pressure intensifiers.

Displacement from 17.28 to 125.63 cm³/rev available in Group 30 and Group 35.
Peak pressures up to 320 bar.
